A patient-oriented research (POR) approach was taken in this project to ensure that survivors’ voices were reflected in the both the research study and this guide. It is recommended that researchers consider using a POR approach when investigating complex trauma/CPTSD to reflect the lives, needs and wants of those who deal with it daily. Several articles, websites and videos have been included to assist with this.  Click here to download a pdf of this appendix.
